Gathering Place

My sculpture partner Fred Lunger and I won a public art commission for Alameda Square in the City of Denver. Fred came up with the initial design, which is ten bronze Canada Geese "landing on" a retention pond. We tweaked the design as the project progressed to meet some challenging logistic challenges; such as keeping the artwork out of reach of vandals.
