A couple months ago my sculpting partner Fred Lunger and I submitted a sculpture proposal for the new Adams County Government Center. Low and behold, we were 1 of 3 finalists out of over 200! These are photos of the maquette, one of which is superimposed onto the site to show scale and relationship. It would have been 24' in height, made of steel, wood, concrete and bronze. The walkway beneath was designed as an abstracted map of the county, and the windmill blades depict a train in bronze bas-relief, chugging along them with a bit of wind.
